eco villas merak was even better than my previous stay in virpazar! hosts were incredibly friendly and accommodating, even providing special vegan options. the rooms were spotlessly clean and spacious, with outdoor tables and a beautiful pool area. a truly relaxing and exclusive experience.

The view was absolutely stunning, with the surrounding mountains creating a picturesque backdrop. The swimming pool was small but well-maintained, and it was a great convenience to have it right outside the door. The property was spotless and the wine from the cellar was both delicious and reasonably priced.

The rooms were quite cold, especially in the evenings and mornings. This made it uncomfortable to spend time in the room during those times.

They also organized a wonderful boat trip for us on Skadar Lake. the location was perfect, just outside the village but close enough to explore the surroundings by using the free bikes provided. it was a relaxing and unique experience, and excellent value for the price. We also had the pleasure of trying the specialty of the house, carp, for dinner and it was incredibly delicious. the location of the villa was also great, with beautiful mountains surrounding the area and the charming village of Virpazar nearby. It was a wonderful opportunity to experience more of Montenegro beyond the usual tourist spots. the accommodation itself was comfortable and the WiFi was excellent, making it ideal for remote working. They even treated us to homemade cake and fruits from their garden, provided helpful advice on activities, and organized a boat tour for us. the villas and pool were well-maintained and had a charming atmosphere. This place is truly a hidden gem and I highly recommend it. Oh, and don't forget to try their amazing wines and homemade honey!
